The new and improved karting radiator from New-Line, The CoolMax RS Radiator. Compared to the standard core (usually obtained from those made for other automotive applications) the MAX radiator core is distinguished by a shorter distance between the pipes where the cooling water flows, reduced from 8mm to 6mm. The fins are also completely revised, with a twenty-fin span now measuring 30 mm against the 25 mm of the standard core. These technical features, specifically designed to improve the cooling of kart engines (which work at different loads and speeds on the track than those of other vehicles), have resulted in a 20% decrease in weight, by reducing the thickness of the radiator from 40 mm to 35. More importantly, the cooling capacity has been increased by up to 10%, a value that allows the engine to operate at lower temperatures with a consequent improvement in performance. The radiator cap is also new, billet machined, with a 360 ° rotating vent pipe connector, set to 1.8 bar to prevent water venting in the event of shocks or vibrations. The water recovery tank now has a shape that allows to be easily fixed behind the radiator without obstructing the outflow of hot air.
